Arts, Crafts, & Activities of Daily Living
Saturday, July 25th
Rosa Keller Library and Community Center
Main Meeting Room
4300 S Broad St, New Orleans, LA 70118
Join us for an informative and creative meeting featuring a fun and easy craft activity as well as a discussion about Occupational Therapy (OT) and Activities of Daily Living After Stroke lead by Tulane University Occupational Therapists, Alanna Glapion and Allision Ardoin. Guests will have an opportunity to share their post stroke difficulties as they relate to common activities of daily life and our presenters will provide information about the role of occupational therapy after stroke.
For our craft we will be creating do-it-yourself picture frames. Both seasoned crafters and beginner artists will delight in this opportunity to relax and embrace creativity. Guests are welcome to create crafts to take home or to donate to recently discharged stroke survivors.
Survivors are welcome to bring kids or grand-kids :)
Complimentary Light Refreshments will be provided
